 Transport Specialists, L.L.C. (Transpec Trucking) began operations in October of 2001, and has been engaged in the long-distance trucking business since its inception. We initially started our company with just 1 truck, and now we are operating approximately 35 trucks. The principal freight now being transported by Transpec consists of building materials, equipment, railroad supplies and other general commodities.
Historically, the geographical area which we serve is basically east of the Mississippi River, with a majority of our freight being transported to the Northeast. However, we do not limit our freight hauling to these areas, as we also have freight to the Midwest as well as Southern states.
Transpec Trucking operates company trucks, as well as leased trucks (Owner Operators) and is primarily a flatbed carrier. We are locally owned and operated, and our terminal, including office and garage facilities, is located in Huntington, West Virginia.
